We met 12 years ago at university in a far away land called Falmouth, and have been working together ever since. Some say it was love at first sight, but we prefer to think of it as having a brother you never chose, aren’t very similar to, and are forced to spend every waking second with whether you like it or not. Thankfully we make each other laugh a lot and, unlike real brothers, can avoid each other at Christmas.

We started our career at TBWA/London where we were lucky enough to be mentored by the some of the best old-school creatives in the industry. From our glass walled office being next to Walter Campbell’s so we could never leave early, to needing to get our posters past Paul Belford before we could even think of showing a CD. We also had years of Paul Weinberger weighing our scripts before he read them to ‘feel how heavy the ink was’.

All this meant we learnt about proper hard work, art direction and writing from the best of the best. It’s definitely shaped the team we are today.

In 2017 we moved to CHI&Partners to become more rounded with social, tech and innovation-led work. Collaborating with big teams on all sorts of content, which has pushed our work ways in we couldn’t on our own.

We’ve never bought into the narrative that you ever have to be anything other than nice to people make amazing work. We’re just obsessed with making big ideas that are truly insightful that actually make you feel something. Whether it’s comedy or cool shit - we ain’t fussy. It just needs to be something that makes us want to miss going to the pub after work coming up with - and good enough that you’ll want tell a someone down there 3 months later.
